WHEN WILL YOU BE ABLE TO FLY?

The flights take place throughout the year, provided there are favorable conditions. For this reason most flights are carried out from February to October. Each flight lasts an hour and a half but we suggest you set aside about 4-5 hours for the entire experience. The Windpassenger takes off at sunrise (morning flight) or two hours before sunset (evening flight, only carried out in Portugal from November until late March/April).

 ALONE OR IN GOOD COMPANY

We believe this experience should belong to you and your loved ones. That’s why we carry out flights for reduced groups of 4 to 20 people. You can also choose an exclusive journey for two or more people, up in the sky where silence has dominion and the world appears more beautiful; where the quiet is absolute, almost unreal and magical, interrupted only by the roar of the burner upon releasing the flames to heat the balloon.

 WHAT TO WEAR?

The temperature at 5000 feet (1524m) is not so different from the ground temperature. That’s why we recommend sportswear, with a special emphasis on closed and sturdy shoes. Avoid nylon or very warm clothing, since the temperature in the basket is always mild due to the balloon burner. In summer, nothing is more suitable than a T-shirt (long sleeves) and a cap, which you can buy at our online store.
WITH YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND

At the end of the journey (1hr. - 90 min.) it’s time to search for an appropriate landing location, where we will meet the Windpassenger team, as well as family members and friends who want to participate. At this moment you will receive a flight certificate and a champagne toast at the end of the flight to celebrate this adventure. If you choose a unique flight you will still have the opportunity to end this amazing day with a small post-ballooning snack as an optional bonus to the exclusive travel pack for two or more people.
